The first half started with great intensity from both teams, who showed a desire to take control of the game. Chornomorets took the lead on 19 minutes when A. Shtogrin put his team in the lead with a shot into the near corner. Minai tried to get back into the game and showed great determination, creating some difficulties for Chornomorets. However, their efforts were constantly thwarted by a solid Chornomorets defence. The game heated up to the limit when V. Sharan of Minaya was yellow carded in the 37th minute, which added spice to the encounter. Towards the end of the first half Minay decided to shake things up by making a substitution. In the 39th minute A. Buleza came into the game instead of T. Dmitruk, who tried to give the team new strength and turn the game in his favour. The second half started with more intensity, "Minai" tried to equalise the game. However, their efforts were constantly thwarted by Chornomorets' solid defensive tactics. In the 48th minute Minai received another yellow card, this time A. Ralyuchenko.

Unable to break through the well-organised defence of Chornomorets, Minai made a second substitution in the 54th minute. V. Rogozinski came on instead of M. Gechev, hoping to bring creativity into the attack. The 66th minute was marked by a flurry of substitutions for Minai: A. Ralyuchenko was replaced by T. Korablin, Y. Tverdokhlib replaced V. Odariuk, and O. Vishnevskiy replaced D. Golub. These changes showed that "Minaj" strived to turn the tide of the match, but it was in vain. In the midst of Minay's efforts, Chornomorets struck again in the 68th minute - A. Shtogrin added a second goal to his account and further increased his team's advantage. The dominance of Chornomorets was further strengthened when O. Melnyk of Minaya received a yellow card in the 72nd minute. The 81st minute brought the third and the last goal for Chornomorets when O. Kuzyk put the ball into the net. At the end of the game both teams made several more substitutions to give Chornomorets players playing time. In the 84th minute Chornomorets introduced A. Avagymyan instead of O. Kuzyk, and in the 88th minute Dada Belmonte replaced A. Shtogrin. In addition, Z. Badibanga came into the game instead of V. Vakula, and S. Ayede replaced G. Hadida in the same minute. Finally, in the 90th minute, M. Bragaru replaced L. Guchek and the final whistle announced the end of the exciting match between Chornomorets and Minai. Chornomorets won 3-0 thanks to goals from A. Shtogrin and O. Kuzyk. Both teams contributed to the exciting match, which kept the fans in suspense until the very end.
