Manchester United legend Bobby Charlton, who played a key role in England's 1966 World Cup victory, has died aged 86, British sources said.
Charlton's family said he "passed away peacefully in the early hours of Saturday morning".
Charlton played 106 games for England and scored 49 goals, a record for his country at the time. During his 17-year career with United's main team, he won three league titles, the European Cup and the FA Cup.
