Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini is delighted to meet his former striker Alberto Gilardino as Genoa coach and joked about how his team will stop Ruslan Malinowski.
"When I arrived at Genoa for the second time, it was a difficult period. Gila had scored 11 goals, he was already at the dawn of his career, but he was deadly in the penalty area and could turn any ball into a goal. As a coach, he reminds me of Raffaele Palladino, able to make an instant impact on the team," Football Italia quoted the Bergamo coach as saying.
Genoa midfielder Ruslan Malinowski will meet his former coach for the first time.
"We need to make him play under the right foot," Gasperini said when asked about the Ukrainian.
