Former Italy striker and current forward of Turkish club Adana Demirspor Mario Balotelli spoke about his desire to play for the Italian national team again.
"After the match against Macedonia, I said I would not return to the national team, but it was a moment of sadness. In fact, I will never close the door to the national team for myself. How could I get there? I'm not asking to be a regular member of it, but sometimes I could be called up. One thing I'm sure of is that no one has the same qualities as me, and no one can change the situation like me, even if they come on the field from the bench," Balotelli was quoted as saying by ITASportPress.
