Ten Hag announced the return of Sancho, but it turned out to be a verbal gaffe

Manchester United head coach Eric Ten Hag unexpectedly announced the return of winger Jadon Sancho to the first team, but it turned out to be just a verbal gaffe.

Many news outlets, including Sky Sports, immediately announced the return of Jaydon, who had fallen out of favour with Ten Hag in early September and was suspended from first-team training.

Soon enough, the Old Trafford club explained that Ten Hag had simply misspoken and meant to say "Sergio" instead of "Sancho". We are talking about left-back Sergio Regilon, who is ready to return to the football field after an injury.

Also, defender Tyrell Malasia and midfielder Casemiro have resumed training in Carrington, but the former is still gaining fitness and working on an individual programme, while the latter is disqualified for the match against Copenhagen.
