Former Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Svyatoslav Syrota commented on the recent failures of his former club following another defeat to Dnipro-1 (0-1) in the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship last Sunday.

"In any case, I think Lucescu is a very strong coach. But. There is one "but". Once upon a time at Shakhtar, he faced a situation where there were some people in the team who were destroying his work. Whether consciously or not, no one will ever know. Mircea analysed the situation and after a while he was able to say goodbye to these people, and the team started to play.

Is the same situation happening now at Dynamo? It is very likely. Will Lucescu have enough opportunities to carry out a clean sweep, as he did at Shakhtar? Who knows. The time is different, and so is his influence. Perhaps he will not succeed. And maybe that's not the point. But from the outside, everything looks very, very much the same.

In addition, so far, Dynamo is still among the championship leaders in terms of points lost. Therefore, you should not sprinkle your head with ashes just yet. I hope that in the missed matches they will get the necessary result and all issues will be resolved by themselves.
