Roma head coach Jose Mourinho has been handed a one-match suspension for the red card he received in Sunday's 1-0 Italian league round 9 match against Monza.
In the second half of the match, the 60-year-old trolled the opposing head coach, Raffaele Palladino, by gesturing to a crying baby, for which he was sent off. Mourinho also sent a verbal message to his colleague: "All you do is talk a lot and then cry".
As a result, the disciplinary control body suspended Mourinho for one match for "provocative behaviour towards the opponents' bench". As a result, the Roma coach will have to watch his team's match against Inter from the stands.
