Marino Pušić, the new head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk, has shared his feelings about taking up the job in Ukraine, which is still at war.

But in life, at some point you make another decision, sometimes you have to do it. Terrible things are happening in Ukraine, and I feel for the people.
Unfortunately, when I was younger, I think I was 19-20 years old, I was in a similar situation in the former Yugoslavia. So it's always unpleasant, it's terrible. I empathise with people, I feel a lot of things. But at the same time, I told my players: there is always hope, and you have to fight for it and for your fans, for your country, you represent your country, your city, so you have to be at your best," said the Bosnian.
