Back on 2 September, the court appointed Kolomoisky measure of restraint - two months in custody with an alternative in the form of bail of more than 509 million hryvnia. Subsequently, the bail was increased to 3.8 billion hryvnias, as investigators announced the disclosure of new data on the case.

Kolomoyskyy's detention in the pre-trial detention centre expires on 2 November, the prosecutor asked to extend it for another two months - up to and including 2 December.

The prosecutor noted that at large Kolomoisky can plan to escape abroad and hide from the investigation. In particular, Cyprus, of which Kolomoisky is a citizen, reserves the right not to extradite its citizens at the request of the investigation. In addition, the prosecutor suspects that Kolomoisky could then get rid of his Ukrainian citizenship.

The prosecution also spoke about the risk of destroying evidence and influencing witnesses - employees of PrivatBank who worked on Kolomoisky's behalf.
