Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has expressed solidarity with the London club's fans who are unhappy that their team is to play an EPL match against Wolverhampton on 24 December, the eve of Catholic Christmas.
"I am unhappy because 23 December is my wedding anniversary with my wife, but I have to go to Wolverhampton. Neither I nor the club's fans are happy with this decision. It is a difficult situation and it will not change. We have to recognise that we are in England and this country is different from the rest of the world. Even if we are unhappy with this situation, which will not change, we have to accept it," Mundo Deportivo quoted Pochettino as saying.
