In a thrilling Serie A encounter, Cagliari claimed a sensational victory over Frosinone at the Stadio Unipol Domus. Trailing 0-2 at half-time, the home side put in a terrific performance in the second half to secure a comfortable 4-3 victory. Frosinone took the lead in the 23rd minute when M. Sule headed the ball into the net. This goal was followed by a yellow card for Frosinone's S. Romagnoli in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Cagliari had a great opportunity to reduce the deficit, but M. Mancosu failed to convert a penalty. Despite Cagliari's efforts, in the 37th minute Frosinone increased their lead with another goal scored by M. Sule. Sule. At half-time, Cagliari made their first substitution, replacing N. Okoli replaced M. Brescianini. In the middle of the game Frosinone received two yellow cards: M. Burabia in the 85th minute and K. Okoli in the 87th minute. Towards the end of the match Cagliari showed great character and determination. In the 90th minute L. Pavoletti scored the decisive goal, levelling the match - 3:3. At the end of the match L. Pavoletti scored another goal in the last minute, completing an amazing comeback and sealing a 4-3 victory for Cagliari. This exciting encounter demonstrated the unpredictability and excitement inherent in Serie A. Cagliari's stunning victory will undoubtedly be remembered as one of the highlights of the season.
