In the 67th minute, Lille's Y. Yazici received a yellow card, but it did not affect the outcome of the match. In the 69th minute Monaco made a third substitution - K. Matsima came on instead of E. Ben Segir. In the 72nd minute, Lille made two substitutions: Y. Yazici was replaced by J. David, and E. David was substituted for E. Ben Segir. David, and E. Zhegrova was replaced by A. Ounas. The home team continued to dominate the game, showing the depth of the squad. Towards the end of the match Lille made three more substitutions in the 86th minute. I. Cavaleiro was replaced by R. Cabella, A. Gomes replaced G. Gudmundsson and B. Diakite replaced T. Santos. These substitutions allowed Lille to maintain their advantage until the final whistle, and the match ended with a deserved 2-0 victory for Lille over Monaco. Lille's strong play throughout the game combined with a solid defence allowed them to win all three points. This result will undoubtedly strengthen their position in the Ligue 1 standings and give them confidence before the upcoming matches.
