Both teams showed their skill and determination, which provided an exciting spectacle for ninety minutes. There was plenty of action at the Civitas Metropolitano Stadium and the fans enjoyed a thrilling encounter. Atletico Madrid won, but Alaves showed their resilience and ability to resist, which gives reason for optimism in future matches.
