FIFA has announced the disqualification of former Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales.
BBC reports that FIFA suspended Rubiales from any activity related to football for three years.
Recall, the functionary was at the centre of the scandal after the final match of the women's World Cup, when during the ceremony kissed on the lips of the footballer Jennifer Hermoso.
Rubiales eventually resigned as president of the Federation.
