Commentator Viktor Vatsko has commented on the situation in which Ukrainian defender of Dinamo Zagreb Bohdan Mykhailichenko found himself. We will remind, earlier it was reported that the Croatian club no longer counts on the 26-year-old footballer.
"From what I know, the contract between Dynamo and Anderlecht (Mykhailichenko's previous club, from which he moved to Dynamo last summer - ed.) is written in such a way that payments to the Belgian club depend on the player's game practice. If Mykhailichenko plays - Dynamo pays, if not - not.
My sources in Croatia say that Mykhailichenko became a victim of a typical confrontation in football - the confrontation between the new club authorities and the old. He came to Dinamo at the invitation of the management, which is now no longer working at this club, and the new management removes what it considers necessary.
So the question here is not about Mykhailichenko's playing qualities or some, God forbid, health problems. I have no doubt that Bohdan will quietly find a new club in winter and will play football. As far as I know, there is interest in him. Now we just need to be a little patient. This is in principle not a new situation, not a new story for football. It happens," - said Vatsko on Youtube channel "Vatsko on air".
Recall, Mikhailichenko moved to Dinamo Zagreb from Belgian Anderlecht in the summer of this year. His contract is valid until 30 June 2024 with an option to extend it for another 1 year.
This season the Ukrainian has played 8 matches for Dynamo in all tournaments and made 2 assists. Transfermarkt estimates the defender at 4 million euros.
