The 2034 FIFA World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia. This was announced by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
"Football unites like no other sport. The World Cup is the perfect platform to demonstrate unity and unification. Different cultures can be together," - quotes Infantino in his tweet Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Recall, earlier it officially became known that Australia withdrew its bid to host the World Cup 2034. After that, Saudi Arabia remained the only contender to host the World Cup.
As for the previous two mundials, the 2026 World Cup will be hosted by the USA, Mexico and Canada, and the 2030 World Cup will be held on the fields of Spain, Portugal and Morocco.
