Football commentator Igor Boyko commented on the news of the death of renowned journalist and editor-in-chief of Football magazine Artem Frankov.

He and his brainchild, Futbol magazine, are a phenomenon of inestimable greatness, the source of the birth of the love of football from 1997 to 2009, the ultimate victory of the Internet over print media.
We are all its children, and our children are its grandchildren. Even if they may never have heard of him in the modern era.
He is also the progenitor of all football writers in Ukraine. Every person who has a style in writing their texts and in their spoken language got this opportunity thanks to Artem.
Before him, football in Ukraine was written by typewriters and spoken by microphones," Boyko said.
