Head coach of the Ukraine national team Serhiy Rebrov, who played for Tottenham during his playing career, recalled a story that happened to him in London.
"I remember the derby against Arsenal in 2000 - I was stuck in a very big traffic jam and was late for the match. I had no choice but to leave my car about 300 metres from White Hart Lane and run to the stadium. The fans were laughing at me and making jokes.
I thought, "I've got no chance of playing today." Eventually, about 20 minutes before kick-off, I got to the changing room and George Graham didn't look very happy.
I was surprised to hear him say I was starting the game, but he told me I'd better score if I wanted to avoid a late penalty. Luckily I scored, making the score 1-1," Rebrov told FourFourTwo.
