"I admired the players of Birmingham, the team that won the League Cup at Wembley (2-1 against Arsenal in 2011 - ed.). My heroes were Seb Larsson, Craig Gardner and Lee Boyer.

My father was an important person in my immersion in football. Later on, I looked up to Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard, simply because they played in England. And then, when you get older, you start watching football. My dad had an unoriginal Zidane shirt that he bought on the beach. He wore it everywhere, most often at home. One day I asked him: "By the way, who is this guy?" He replied: "Look up who he is on YouTube". I probably haven't stopped since then.

I wanted to be like Zidane. I was lucky enough to meet him during the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool. I looked like a child with wide eyes. According to the guys who played here under him, he was a great coach. That's just as important," L'Equipe quoted Bellingham as saying.
