Zorya defender Roman Vantukh will not play in 2023. He suffered a torn shoulder ligament. This was reported by the TaToTake telegram channel.
It happened last Saturday, 28 October, in the match against Polissia (0: 1). In that match, Vantukh was substituted in the 40th minute.
Two treatment options for the 25-year-old footballer were considered - surgical and non-surgical. In the end, it was decided to perform the surgery, which will take place in one of Kyiv's clinics.
Vantukh will not play in 2023, and Zorya hopes that he will recover by the start of the team's winter training camp.
