Inter Miami's Argentine striker Lionel Messi has said that he is unlikely to ever play in Europe again.
"Is European football closed to me? Yes. I had a great career in Europe and I won everything I ever dreamed of. Now that I've decided to move to the United States, I don't think I'll ever return to playing in Europe," journalist Fabrizio Romano quoted Messi as saying, citing L'Équipe.
