Ilya Zabarny recalls how his transfer to Bournemouth happened

Bournemouth defender Ilya Zabarnyi told us how he moved from Dynamo Kyiv to Foggy Albion.

- "It was at a training camp with Dynamo in Turkey. In the evening on the last day of the transfer window, President Surkis told me that I was flying to England. That there would be a viewing, that they wanted to buy me. I said: "Okay". I packed my things, called my parents and my current wife and told them. They were all delighted.

I was worried because I gave a lot to Dynamo, and they gave a lot to me. I had mixed feelings, but I wanted to leave more, to try myself somewhere else. I signed a contract with Bournemouth, but at that time I was injured. Because of this, my start was a bit difficult. I was very surprised by the level of the Premier League. I could only dream about it. I think every player wants to play in the Premier League," Zabarnyi told Setanta Sports Ukraine.
