Cristiano Bergodi: "I don't see Lucescu as a coach anymore. With all due respect."

Former Italian footballer and current head coach of Bucharest's Rapid Cristiano Bergodi believes that Mircea Lucescu, who left his post as head coach of Dynamo Kyiv, should not return to coaching work anymore.

"Mircea Lucescu is a great coach. But he is already at a certain age (78 years old - ed.). And I don't see Lucescu as a coach anymore. With all due respect. As a coach, he is a thing of the past. But Lucescu could be useful to work as a general manager of a club or as a technical director - for this he has a huge international experience in football," the Romanian media quoted Bergodi as saying.
