In the 79th minute Minaya player S. Panasenko received a yellow card, and in the 85th minute - Poltava Vorskla player O. Sklyar. Sklyar's day got even worse when he was shown a red card just four minutes before the end of the main time. In the last minutes of the game even more drama was added when in the 90th minute Poltava "Vorskla" got the right to a penalty kick. However, they failed to realise it - R. Stepanyuk missed. Stepanyuk missed from the spot. Vorskla Poltava made two more substitutions in regulation time: V. Yurchenko and Tiago Santana replaced Lucas Ramirez and A. Chelyadin, and in added time the referee showed two more yellow cards: I. Krupsky (Vorskla Poltava) and D. Nemchaninov (Minai) were warned. Despite the fact that no goals were scored in the match, the fans were kept in suspense from start to finish. Overall, it was a tense battle between Minaj and Poltava Vorskla in the Premier League. Both teams had chances, but in the end neither of them could succeed. A goalless draw means that both teams will have to settle for points, continuing their fight in the championship.
