Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino shared his expectations from the trip to North London to visit Tottenham in the 11th round of the Premier League.
"I didn't make the decision to leave Tottenham. We parted ways because I was sacked. This is not a criticism of the club... but my coaching staff did not want to leave. Maybe we would still be there," the coach said at a press conference.
Pochettino also spoke about Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, who fired the coach back in 2019.
"Daniel is really smart. It's an amazing job he's doing for Tottenham. Look at Tottenham 20 years ago and now, how it has changed, how it has moved forward. You have to recognise his work," The Guardian quoted Pochettino as saying.
