These substitutions were to give the attack a new dynamic and break the deadlock. In the 74th minute, Strasbourg seemed to have finally found the turning point by scoring a goal. However, the goal was cancelled due to an offside infringement, much to the disappointment of the fans.
Things took a turn for the worse in the 76th minute when Strasbourg player M. Senaya received a second yellow card, leading to a red card.
