Review of the match Valencia - Granada:

In a La Liga match held at the Estadio de Mestalla, Valencia scored a confident victory over Granada. The score was 1-0 at half-time and remained unchanged until the final whistle. The match, full of yellow cards and substitutions, kept both teams in suspense. In the 12th minute, Granada's G. Gumbau received a yellow card for tripping an opponent. This early suspension set the tone for a physically tense match. Valencia, looking to dominate, made their first substitution in the 24th minute, bringing on S. Amallah instead of S. Canos. Just before the break Granada found themselves in hot water when R. Sanchez and R. Torrent received yellow cards. The tension at the stadium increased even more when a penalty was awarded to Valencia in the final minutes of the first half. Pepelu confidently converted the penalty and Valencia went into the break with a 1-0 lead. At the start of the second half, J. Guerra received a yellow card for Valencia on 51 minutes and Gabriel Paulista on 58 minutes. Both teams fought hard for the advantage, but a solid defence prevented them from scoring any goals.

Granada made a triple substitution in the 73rd minute, with Gumbau, Neves and Melendo replacing Ruiz, Carreras and Puertas respectively. Valencia also made two substitutions, replacing Duro and Guillamon with Canos and Fulquier. Granada's frustration poured out in the 78th minute when G. Villar received a yellow card for a careless tackle. Sensing an opportunity, Valencia made a fourth substitution, with Uzuni replacing Callejon in the 82nd minute, followed by Manafa replacing Sanchez. Valencia's Faulquier received another yellow card in the 83rd minute. A flurry of substitutions followed at the end of the match as both teams looked for fresh energy to try and break the deadlock. Mosquera and Gasiorowski came on for Valencia in the final minutes, replacing Pepela and Yaremchuk. In the final minutes of the match, Granada's B. Zaragoza was cautioned with a yellow card. Despite the additional tension, both teams stood firm and by the final whistle the score remained 1-0 in favour of Valencia. Valencia picked up three important points in La Liga as a result of a hard fought game, while Granada will be disappointed that they were unable to salvage a draw in this match. The Estadio de Mestalla stadium was a tense battle, demonstrating the competitive nature of Spanish football.

In the next round of matches await the rivals: Real - Valencia, Granada - Getafe.
