The atmosphere in the stadium heated up even more when Juventus took the lead, and with each passing minute both teams continued to battle on the pitch. The match was not without yellow cards: in the 43rd minute A. Rabiot of Juventus received one, in the 48th - M. Keane, in the 58th - F. Gatti. The players did not hold back, which led to a tense and physical struggle. The second half started with the first substitution for Fiorentina. In the 46th minute L. Beltran replaced M. Nzola, trying to change the dynamics of the game. This move energised the Fiorentina attack, but did not bring immediate results. Both teams continued to struggle in midfield, trying to take control of the game.
On 59 minutes, Fiorentina made another substitution: A. Barak came on in place of G. Bonaventura. In the 61st minute Juventus followed suit, replacing the scorer F. Miretti with A. Cambiaso. Cambiaso. In the course of the match Juventus made two more substitutions in a row. In the 68th minute, M. Keane was replaced by D. Vlahovic. Vlahovic, and at the same minute F. Chiesa replaced A. Milik. Not wanting to back down, Fiorentina made their last substitution in the 78th minute. Arthur Melo came on in place of J. Ikone and K. Kouame replaced R. Sottila. Both teams continued to put their best foot forward, creating chances and showing great teamwork, but as the match drew to a close the tension in the game began to build. In the 83rd minute, Fiorentina's L. Ranieri received a yellow card. Despite Fiorentina's late attempts to equalise, Juventus stood firm and held a one goal lead until the final whistle. The match ended 1-0 in favour of Juventus, who showed their experience and quality of play. Both teams deserved praise for their performances, putting on a thrilling spectacle for the fans. The match was a reminder of the high level of competition in Serie A and that every game is a thrill for players and fans alike.
