Everton's Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko commented on his goal against Brighton in the English Championship match.

"Brighton is a tough opponent. We had to adapt to impose our game. We had to work hard in defence and move quickly between all the lines. I think our game plan worked well and we didn't deserve the opposition to equalise. It was unfortunate for Young.
But we are growing every week as a team, you can see that. I hope our fans will see it too. We work hard together every day in training so that we can go out and play our best game on the weekend and give a positive result.
I try to play 100 per cent in every match, I still want to get better and I work hard every day to keep improving. I want to help my teammates, I do everything for this team. The Premier League is a tough league, perhaps the best in the world. It takes time to adapt, but I have great teammates and I think we are strong. I want to continue to contribute."
