Boca Juniors fan commits suicide after club's defeat in Libertadores Cup final

A Boca Juniors fan committed suicide after the club's defeat in the final match of the Libertadores Cup against Fluminense (1-2).

According to Marca, Marcelo Morales, who worked as a police officer in Buenos Aires, committed suicide after the game, unable to withstand the defeat of his favourite team.

"When Boca was losing, he was bad, he was bored, he was angry. He was saying 'Boca' was the best thing ever. "Boca was rubbish. They killed him. I don't have him now, and I don't have a player to give me my condolences.

I didn't think my son would commit suicide. A few weeks ago he told his father: "If Boca doesn't win on the 4th of November, I'll kill myself." We thought he was joking. Let young people be aware, let your families think about it," Morales' mother said.
