Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has made it clear that two Citizens players were taken to the infirmary after the match against Young Boys.
"Manuel Akanji has a back problem. When this happens, you don't play. And, unfortunately, John Stones' injury came back to haunt him. I feel so sorry for him, because he is such a professional and is trying so hard to reach his best level. It's a big loss for us. John is so important to us because of what he does. Now he needs to recover. The season is long and he will come back stronger," Guardiola told TNT Sports.
