Zinedine Zidane: "On the pitch, I was a second ahead of my opponents, and Messi was three"

The legendary footballer and coach Zinedine Zidane has expressed his opinion on Argentine forward Lionel Messi.

"To play in the top ten position, you need to have magic, like in the case of Messi. Because the top ten is the leader of the team, and the leader must be a creator. He must have something that sets him apart from the rest.

You notice different things before anyone else, and that's what a number 10 has to do. I was one second ahead of my opponents, and Messi was three. That, to me, is what makes him different.
