MEDIA: Denis Popov may join Fiorentina

Denys Popov, the defender of Kyiv's Dynamo, may continue his career in the Italian Fiorentina.

According to the portal Novosti .LIVE, citing Tutto Mercato, Fiorentina is interested in Popov's services. Vincenzo Italiano's team is conceding too many goals this season and the club's management intends to remedy the situation by inviting several defenders. Denis Popov may become one of them.

"Fiorentina wants to take the Ukrainian on loan until the end of the season in January 2024. If Popov proves himself in the Italian Serie A, he will be offered a permanent deal. "Dynamo will receive €2.5 million for the player. The Kyiv club will not keep the player.

Popov's contract with Dynamo runs until 2025.
