The former president of FC Peremoga from Dnipro and current owner of the Cypriot club Geroskipou, Femis Sagirov, recalled the inappropriate behaviour of former Veres forward Robert Gegedosh.
Robert Gegedosh- In winter FC Peremoga was strengthened by players from Veres - Gegedosh, Nemchaninov and Timofeyenko. How did you manage to invite players from UPL?
- It was my mistake, which I regret to this day. I invited real devils from Veres - Gegedosh and Nemchaninov, who received salaries and huge bonuses up front. They did not play a single official game for FC Pobeda, but they were drinking and debauching in Turkey. The hotel staff even called the police on them because they couldn't handle them. They're just mad. I watched this circus and flew to Cyprus on the 27th of February.
And they say we abandoned them in Turkey. To give you an idea, Nemchaninov received seven thousand dollars in lifting money and seven thousand first salary, which he never worked off. Gegedosh got less - three and a half thousand in lifting money and two salaries up front, also three and a half each. The problems didn't end with Gegedosh.
- What else was there?
- Some girl from Rivne wrote to me and said that Gegedosh owed her money. She wanted the club to pay for him, threatened with some publications in social networks. Then it turned out that he had the same situation at Veres, and this girl was not alone. Another girl started writing to us with the same question.
- So what did Hegedosh do to the girls that they asked for money?
- He would have sexual intercourse with them and then swindle them out of money and disappear. The girls were looking for him at football clubs and threatening to ruin the clubs' reputations. They said they would publish an intimate video with Gegedosh. In the end, I paid them - one of them gave 50 thousand hryvnias, and the second - 25.
- Did you and Hegedosh talk about this topic?
- Of course! I called him to Turkey and said: "The girls write to me that you owe them money and ask me to pay them back. To which he replied: "Let them prosecute me as a prostitute. I am ready to be punished and pay a fine." I looked at him in shock, but I thought to myself: "What a sick man you are"!
