Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag believes his team is in a "very good position" to break into the Premier League's top four.
"Even after all our failures, we are still close to the top four. And when we start playing well and stop having to shuffle the squad for a few weeks or months, then maybe other teams will face their failures and lose points.
We have now won four out of five games in the Premier League, and we are in a pretty good position if you look at all the adversity we have faced. We are in a very good position and that is a reason for optimism.
We needed this victory and we got it, but we could have made things easier for ourselves by scoring early and then scoring the second. I'm glad we won and didn't concede," The Guardian quoted Ten Hag as saying.
