Head coach of "Alexandria" Ruslan Rotan commented on the victory over "Veres" (1:0) in the match of the 14th round of the championship of Ukraine.
"Emotions after such heavy victories are always positive. I am satisfied with the attitude of the team to work. I have said before, if we work so hard - the result will come. You saw - the game did not go according to our scenario, we did not score a penalty.
But we showed character and fighting qualities, which we lacked before. Today the team looked at the level. We have potential. That means that future victories are ahead of us.
At the start of the season we lost confidence after unrealised chances, but today, after an unconverted penalty, the team continued to grind out this victory and achieved the result. Today we were united and everyone worked for the result," Rotan said.
