"Napoli is preparing to dismiss head coach Rudi Garcia after a 0-1 defeat to Empoli in the 12th round of the Italian league.
The French coach decided to change his line-up after the 1-1 draw with Union Berlin in the Champions League. He unexpectedly dropped Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, Piotr Zielinski and Nathan, switching to a 4-2-3-1 formation with Giovanni Simeone supported by Giacomo Raspadori. It didn't work out too well, as the team reverted to the usual 4-3-3 formation in the 55th minute of the game.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis went to the dressing room again at half-time. He has done the same in the last few games, including the unsuccessful game against Union. During the match against Empoli, De Laurentiis could be seen in the stands with Fabio and Paolo Cannavaro.
