- First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your debut call-up to the national team. Did it come as a surprise to you?

- Thank you. Actually, it was a surprise. I'm very happy, this is a great event for me and my family, I'm very proud, because I've been dreaming about it all my adult life. Now I am very happy and full of inspiration, I hope to justify the trust of the head coach.

- How did you find out? Did someone from the coaching staff call or did you find out through the club?

- I talked to the older guys, to Yarmolenko, and I can say that I heard from him first. At first, I was sceptical about his words, and I believed him only when I saw the list of players called up. And then I received an official call-up to the club.

- Today was the first match after the coaching change, and now Oleksandr Shovkovskyi is the acting head coach. What has changed in the training process and mentally?

- He is now trying to convey his philosophy to us. Every day we have theoretical sessions, trying to understand what he wants from us. Today you could see for yourself what exactly has changed in our game, especially with regard to the role of the wing-back. We played more in the centre, in defence, because now we need to score points and win, and showing a beautiful game is still in the background for us.

- How important is today's victory in Kryvyi Rih over one of the championship leaders, especially given the rather bad period we had before?

- Yes, we hadn't won in four games, so there's nowhere to go back. We can say it was our last chance to prove ourselves, get positive emotions and get closer to the leaders.
