Guerrero unauthorisedly left Zorya before the Ukrainian championship match

Another scandal in Luhansk "Zorya" has become known. According to the TaToTake telegram channel, the team's forward Eduardo Guerrero spontaneously left the location of his club immediately after the match of the 4th round of the group stage of the Conference League against Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv, which took place last Thursday in Lublin, Poland.

Guerrero received a call-up from the Panamanian Football Federation for the Concacaf Nations League quarter-final matches against Costa Rica (17 and 21 November) and was supposed to travel to his national team's location during the national team match window, namely after the 14th round match against LNZ last Sunday in Lviv.

However, Guerrero flew home directly from Lublin, from where Zorya were due to travel to Lviv on Friday morning to prepare for the aforementioned match against LNZ.

The source also reports that the reason for "AWOL" Guerrero could be a conflict with the now former head coach of Zorya Valeriy Kriventsov at half-time of the match against Maccabi. Now the player is likely to be fined on his return to Ukraine.
