Ukraine's national team held its first full training session in Gdansk

The national team of Ukraine continues to prepare in Gdansk for the final match of the Euro 2024 qualifying cycle against the Italian national team, which will take place next Monday in Leverkusen, Germany. On Tuesday, the national team held its second training session at the current training camp. This time it was attended by all the players called up for the training camp.

Yesterday afternoon, after spending a total of 22 hours on the road, Dynamo Kyiv arrived at the location of the blue and yellows, expanding the team's squad to full strength. Vitalii Kulyba, the physical training coach, arrived with the players, so today's warm-up at the Na Traugutta stadium was led by him as usual (yesterday this mission was taken over by one of Serhii Rebrov's assistants, Alberto Bosch).

Actually, after part of the run, the players split into two groups: the guys from the Ukrainian clubs who played on Sunday continued to run laps around the pitch, while the legionnaires, together with Yegor Nazarina and Dmitry Riznik, warmed up with balls, in particular, for the accuracy of passes, and then performed various tasks of the coaching staff. A lot of attention has been paid to tactical work since the first days of the training camp. The players did passing exercises with a final kick, practised their actions during the press, and worked on their tackling. The team also worked in the format of game series.

Meanwhile, the other group, having completed a run, performed stretching and muscle recovery exercises. After completing their recovery work, they returned to the hotel.

After the players' functional condition is levelled, the whole team will work in the context of a single training session today. This session will be in the evening and, like the previous two, will take place at the Na Traugutta Stadium.
