Dynamo defender Vladyslav Dubinchak told vZbirna about his call-up to thenational team, his successes and changes at the club.
- Is the challenge before such an important match an additional pressure?
- Perhaps I understand that I am still new to the team. I need to prove myself. I hope I will get time, but I understand that it is quite difficult. I am glad that there is a friendly game now - I will be able to prove myself.
- It's nice to come to the national team after a victory in the club. But you had a rather difficult journey...
- We travelled for about 23-24 hours. If you count from Kryvyi Rih, it's even longer. How do you feel now? I feel fine. Recently, for the last two years, we have been travelling like this, so we are used to it.
- The victory over Kryvbas was very important. Did it raise your spirits a bit?
- I think it also raised the individual spirit of the players. Because when you lose, you start to worry and doubt yourself, but when you win, you have confidence, inspiration and everything is better.
- You have a new coach now. How did the team cope with this change?
- He was at the headquarters, we know him, so it's fine. We understand what he wants from us, and now we are gradually adjusting and listening to him. We'll see what happens next.
- He used to be an assistant, and now he is the head coach. What has changed or has very little time passed?
- He is probably doing the right thing by introducing changes little by little. So that it is not a cardinal blow for us and we do not know what they want from us. He came when the championship is going on, not the training camp - when he can change everything and play his own moments. He is slowly changing things.
