Former Dynamo Kyiv head coach Oleksandr Khatskevich has commented on the recent statements about himself by his ex-assistant on the coaching staff of the Bilo-Syni Oleg Luzhny.
"I was invited under an interesting project, and Khatskevich assured that we were building a super-team. However, later it became clear that Alexander's promises do not correspond to reality," - Luzhny's statement.
Khatskevich: - I had a chance to work with a true professional, as he says. But I know one thing: if you do good to a person, you need to move to a safe distance, otherwise a wave of gratitude can cover you. I can say it like this.
"He called to Dynamo players who were not even close to the level of the club and the set tasks. There were opportunities to strengthen qualitatively and get good results in Dynamo at that time", - Luzhny's statement.
Khatskevich: - Let him bring the list of players I invited. Maybe he had some options. But I have not heard a single proposal from him to strengthen our team. Oh, no, there was one. It was left-back Vasyl Kravets at the time when we had Pivaric and Mikolenko playing in this position.
