As Sport Arena has learned, former Luhansk Zorya midfielder Zeljko Lubenovic may take over at Minaj.
Earlier, TaToTake reported that Minaj plans to fire head coach Volodymyr Sharan in the near future. The club's management is going to use the pause for the national team matches to change the coach.
In addition to Zorya, Željko also played for Tavriya, Kryvbas and Oleksandriya in Ukraine. The Serbian retired from football in 2018, having played over 300 matches in the Ukrainian league.
Ljubenovic worked as a coach-selector at Zorya, and then was an assistant coach with the U-19 side. The 42-year-old also worked for Serbian side Zalizničar.
"Minaj is in last place in this season's UPL, having scored six points and not won a single match out of 14. In the next match, the Transcarpathians will host Kryvbas on 25 November.
