Former Italy head coach Arrigo Sacchi shared his expectations for the Azzurri's decisive match in the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Ukraine.
- A difficult challenge. Firstly, the Ukrainian national team did not play, so they had a longer rest than we did. Secondly, tension is an additional enemy. We have to try to make sure that Spalletti's boys don't feel any pressure.
And one more thing. If they think of playing for a draw, this is the time when they will lose. This is a team that must follow the credo of a coach who likes to attack the opponent. Let them do that against Ukraine, and not sit and calculate the odds like in accounting," Sacchi said in an interview with TMW.
