- If we look back at the rise of Minaj last season, when it finished eighth, the current 16th place in the standings is certainly a setback. However, there is an explanation for this.

The arrival of Volodymyr Sharan at the helm of Minaj, who had previously shown his best at Oleksandriya, was a great achievement for the management of the Transcarpathian club. The arrival of such a qualified specialist contributed to the team's cohesion and the players' desire to jump above their heads. It was something similar to Mircea Lucescu's first year at Dynamo Kyiv, when his players were highly motivated and performed at their best.

Back then, Kyiv won a lot of trophies, and Minaya still had, figuratively speaking, the cherry on top when, in the final round, Zorya were awarded a technical defeat in the victorious match against the townspeople, because Luhansk managed to put a player on the field who was not included in the protocol. Zorya's three points allowed Minaj to suddenly find themselves among the mid-table.

How did Lyubenovych react to the news that Sharan had been replaced by Lyubenovych at the helm of Zakarpattia? It's difficult to give a comprehensive answer, because Lyubenovych was a strong footballer, but I don't know what kind of coach he is. Moreover, he will have to help Minaj climb out of the bottom of the standings. Although, of course, this is a promotion for Lyubenovych, because he used to work as an assistant head coach in his homeland, and here he has a chance to prove himself in the UPL championship as a manager," said Kopolovets.
