The Ukraine national team, which continues to fight for direct access to the final part of Euro 2024, received a "safety cushion" a day before the decisive match against Italy.
Recall, three tickets to the final part of Euro-2024 will be played in the play-offs of the Nations League of the last played season, which will be attended by 12 teams - the four best teams from divisions A, B, C of the tournament. For the Ukraine national team everything was decided today in Group G. We had to make sure that Serbia, who were in line for the playoffs, got a direct ticket to the Euros.
As a result, two matches of the group ended with the results we needed: Hungary vs Montenegro - 3:1 and Serbia vs Bulgaria - 2:2. The Hungarians and the Serbs took the two passing places.
