Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbik's children's coach Serhiy Kovalevych has revealed that the current Girona player could once have ended up at Shakhtar Donetsk.
"In 2012 in Mariupol at the Ukrainian final, I offered Artem to Shakhtar coaches. I said: "Look at the boy, because he needs to develop and move on". Well, they didn't see anything - that's their problems.
But the boy is coordinated, decent, hardworking, with a good sense of humour. He had a lot of friends, as he never put on the mask of a football genius, although he scored a lot, but he started scoring with his head later. It's all about scoring so many goals now," Kovalevic said.
