Despite Moldova's efforts, the Czech Republic continued to dominate the match. In the 85th minute, the Czechs replaced T. Ciori with M. Chytil, further increasing their attacking opportunities. The final blow came in the 90th minute when T. Soucek scored a goal, sealing a 3-0 victory for the Czech Republic. In the end of the match the tension increased, as a result of which yellow cards were given to V. Stina (Moldova) and V. Kuzey (Czech Republic).
