The Euro 2024 qualifying match between Ukraine and Italy ended in a scandal.
In the 90+3rd minute of the game, during Ukraine's attack, Mudryk received the ball in the Italian penalty area, crossed the ball to himself, but was knocked down by defender Cristante. Despite appeals from the players and coaching staff of the Ukraine national team, the head referee Jesus Gil Manzano did not award a penalty.
