Former Dynamo goalkeeper - on the unassigned penalty against Italy: "Ceferin's direct instruction played its role"

Former Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Svyatoslav Sirota commented on the draw in the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Italy (0:0).

"Pulled Italy by the ears. If a man has a conscience, and he probably doesn't, Ceferin should resign. Ceferin said in direct text that Ukraine should not win. His instruction was fulfilled by the referee who did not give a 100 per cent penalty at the end of the match.

Rebrov came up with a great tactic, which he almost realised. Rebrov's bet on an assault in the last 20 minutes should have played out. But almost direct instruction from Ceferin played its role," Sirota wrote on his Facebook page.
